| Much of the Town Class tradition... socializing, sailing, racing and the general
rabble rousing surrounding these wonderful boats (did we leave out "fun"...sorry!) would not be possible without the efforts,
dedication and skills of Pert, Ralph and their families. They do say "one picture is worth a thousand words" so here is your
chance. Have some fun and submit your captions for this great picture of Pert and Ralph at the Shop. You could be the winner of a special
prize (and potentially embarrassing recognition!) at Saturday night's Regatta dinner and slideshow. Please be sure to see contest rules
below before entering! Thanks! CONTEST RULES: How to Enter: All submissions must be emailed to: webmaster@doryclub.org by Saturday, August 13th 6AM. Printed submissions will also be accepted at the Club until cocktail hour on the 13th. All submissions must be legible and contain little or no profanity. Anonymous submissions will be accepted, however you will have to make yourself known if announced as a winner...to receive your prize of course! Eligibility: All entrants whose initials are T.C. automatically win. Members of the Lowell and Johnson families as well as ALL current and former employees of the Pert Lowell Company are...ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE! Up to five entries will be accepted with one throw-out allowed for each entrant. Prizes: Special prizes and induction in to the Townie "Hall of Fame" will be awarded at the Regatta dinner and slideshow on Saturday night. |
